How to & Details
How do I know if Confprice is the right service for me
If you are a commercial buyer or work for an organization’s IT department and you are buying network switches, storage/flash arrays, HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure) or Servers then we can provide online automated price checks of offers from suppliers and vendors. During the beta test we only cover network switch purchases over $20,000. We can work as your traditional internal consultancy, but much faster and at a lower cost. There are no meetings, onboarding, scoping or project management costs, just cloud based consulting.
What do I need to do?
You need to first register and once your email is confirmed you can then login and upload your offer, configuration and pricing details. You can do this by selecting the service and uploading a pdf copy of the offer from the supplier. An offer from a vendor in PDF format is required, this is the standard type of quote or offer from an IT supplier. It must contain model numbers, configuration capacity details and pricing information. Itemised pricing & totals. We only support price checks for large commercial IT equipment, not personal devices such as PCs, tablets or phones.
How does the system work and is my data safe.
Upload a pdf copy of the offer/contract, this is then processed while you watch. We do not share or publish your company, suppliers or personal or contact details. All personal details are confidential and are not published or shared with any other organization. The results and accuracy of the price review depends on the quality and correctness of the data provided and input by you. We check, verify and if any of your data is inconsistent or missing we may ask for more information. Confprice is a fully automated system which uses 1,000’s of data points with AI and ML to analyze market trends and pricing for commercial IT equipment. If you are concerned about privacy and you prefer to keep some details private, the quickest and most efficient way of providing your offer details is to remove/black out all of your and suppliers details such as names etc from the PDF offer file which you upload. Only the pricing, quantities, configuration/product details and technical specifications of the offer is used during analysis.
Exceptions and caveats, who can use this system.
This online service is free for buyers only at the moment. This is not for salesmen, computer vendors or consultancies. IT companies and IT consultancies who would like to use this service can contact us if they would like access and/or market data from us.
The service is the first generation. However, depending on the volume of usage the company reserves the right to charge for the service and change the pricing strategy/fees at any time or charge for its online consultancy services. As more options and services are introduced it is expected that some new services will be free of charge and others will be chargeable.

Tip; If you buy basic for $99 and then want more details with premium, which costs $199. You have to pay the additional $199. Therefore, it costs less to initially buy the premium package which includes both basic analysis & premium breakout for $199.

Basic: $99
The basic offer review provides a textual summary if the offer is high, low or exactly at market price. And if any savings are possible. A graphical analysis dashboard is also provided as seen below. The financial summary provides the market price, in relation to the offer price and the price difference. The analysis summary shows how much money you can save, your discount, what discount you require if the offer is high/uncompetitive. It also provides a data indicators section showing how competitive your offer is relative to the market and the completeness/quality of the data which you have provided in the offer you uploaded for analysis.
Premium: $199
This package offers the basic report and in addition to basic report. The premium graphical financial analysis provides a breakout of the financial distribution of the products and services within the offer. This detailed analysis of the structure/components of the offer provides you with valuable insight where and what proprotion of your purchase is assigned to products, services, sw, licences and any other miscellaneous line items. This can help you in purchase negotitation when a section is overpriced. And how to request more competitive pricing if hidden costs are included. Competitive of the offer is provided in more detail. How, complete and useful the data within your provided offer is also provided. For IP protection purposes an example of the premium graphical report is not displayed here.
Both textual and graphical reports are available & displayed for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
